Paradise Shift๐ŸŒž: Don’t Get Too Comfortable

Back at it again.

Different shift.
Different unit.
Different residents.
Different vibe.
and whew…. what a change of pace.

Covering some vacation shifts and I’m not even going to lie — this feels like paradise.

No major behaviors. Residents are mostly independent.
And right now? We’ve got gospel reggae playing in the background and it’s a whole mood.

Like….smooth sailing for real. โ›ต

No chaos.
No yelling across the unit.
No running around trying to catch up.

And let’s talk about the real reason why—
the people (and the residents).

Because it really is the support that makes or breaks a shift.

The aids have everything down to a T. I admire their teamwork – there is not push back or eye roll between them.

This is THEIR unit. For sure.

I’m sitting here like —
oh….so this is what luxury healthcare feels like?? ๐Ÿ˜…

Every aide I’ve worked with across the units have been amazing.
Hard working. Kind. Patient.

The kind of people you’d want taking care of your own family.
And it just proves the point all over again.

You can be in the same field, doing the same job…
but the environment and the team changes everything.

Round 2 tomorrow….

Another shift on this unit for the next 2 days and low key hoping for another paradise shift ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ

So hereโ€™s to hoping tomorrow stays:
โœจ calm
โœจ collected
โœจ and just a little bit boring

(but not saying the Q wordโ€ฆ absolutely not ๐Ÿ˜Œ)

Scrubs and Side Eyes
โ€” cautiously optimisticโ€ฆ with a little side eye ๐Ÿ‘€
