🎉 One Year as a Nurse

Happy 1-year anniversary to me… as a nurse 🩺

And wow—
that year really flew by.

I’ve learned so much…
and I’m still learning more every single day

growing into this role
and seeing all the different sides of healthcare

Coming from outpatient,
working as a medical assistant for so many years—

to now being able to say:

I made it. I’m a nurse.

It took some time
it took some work
but I got here

and that still feels kind of surreal.

LPN school?

Not for the weak 😅

Accelerated program
tests 1–2 times a week
and the second you finished one exam…

boom—
on to the next topic

no time to breathe

But I pushed through

and I made it.

Now here I am—

building relationships
gaining experience
figuring out my place in this field

and honestly just excited to see
where healthcare takes me next

And yes…

the next step would be an RN program

but let’s relax for a second 😂

I’m in no rush.

Right now,
I just want to soak this all in

especially having more control over my schedule

after 15+ years of the typical
9–5 Monday through Friday grind

(which, let’s be real… is exhausting in its own way)

This new chapter?

It’s more than just a title change

it’s a promotion in career and life

And I really do feel like

it can only go up from here.

Also…

note to self:
keep up with the blog 😅
